Summer Stop: Huntsville

June 26th, 2008

Though kids may be out of school and families may be off on vacation, Sam has yet to slow down this summer.  He continues to stay busy, visiting with folks around the state about his race for Texas Supreme Court justice.

His most recent travels took him to East Texas.  There he stopped in Huntsville to attend a reception honoring him and fellow Supreme Court candidate Judge Jim Jordan.   Sam had the opportunity to speak personally with, and hear from, a wide variety of folks including professors from Sam Houston State University, who offered their knowledge of Texas politics, and other Walker County residents who expressed the sort of enthusiasm that propels Sam along in his convictions, his goals, and his campaign.

Between the University, the National Forest, and the 67-foot tall statue, it’s safe to say that Huntsville is Sam Houston country. Let’s keep it that way this November.
